Hi,
My publisher has the error Buffer I/O error on device hda, logical block 11437 and Buffer I/O error on device hda, logical block 11435.
Does anyone know what does this means and how to resolve it? Many thanks

Logical block and Buffer I/O error, indicate two possible issues.
Bad section on the hard drive -or- a controller issue.
Raise the issue with TAC and start the RMA process for the hard drive.
If you still have an issue AFTER the hard drive has been replaced, you need to focus on the controller.

hda = /dev/hda. A hard drive in your server. Hope that helps.

So does that means my hard drive has issues and needs to be replaced via RMA? Can it be fixed by the recovery CD option of Check and auto correct disk file systems? Thanks
