Hi everybody,
In a CUCM cluster, 1 PUB and 1 SUB
if the Publisher is down, does the subscriber will store the CDR in database?
Because it seems there is no CDR service can be selected in Subscriber
Any Cisco official document does mention about that?
Thanks in advance
Sam

Hello Sam,
CDR Agent is running On Subscribers while CDR Repository running on Publisher, CDR Agent collects the CDR/CMR flat files that the Cisco Unified Communications Manager generates and sends these files to CDR Repository (publisher) through SFTP.
CDR Files in CDR Agent are stored in (activelog /cm/cdr) and will be deleted once they transferred successfully to Publisher. When either CDR Agent or CDR Repository down, files can be checked on subscribers through SSH: file list activelog /cm/cdr
If Publisher (CDR Repository) is down, the files will stay in CDR Agents (subscribers) and once the Publisher comes up, files will be sent.
Thank you,
Shadi

It is the publisher that is responsible for pushing out the final CDRs. It collects all the call data from the subs. If the publisher is down, the subs will store up their call data and push the backlog to the publisher once it comes back online.
