igmp/multicast (catalyst 4507 and 3560)

Hi,

I have a core switch catalyst 4507 and edge switch as catalyst 3560.I need the igmp configuration on the switches. I think I need activate multicast on core switch then activate on edge switch.They will be used for IPTV system.

Please help me asap.

Is the core to edge switch L3 connection or L2?
