Import Translation patterns

Need to do a bulk import of tranlsation patterns but have never done this before and do not want to end up deleting any existing tp's.

Do I need to export ALL the tp's then add the new tp's and then import all of them together again? Or do I just import the tp's that I want to create?

Is there any danger of erasing existing translation patterns using the import tool?

You only need to import new ones, it will not overwrite existing ones.
