in documentation, it said layer 2 status should be MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED
but in my real world router (which isdn/pri is working fine), I saw the layer 2 status is TEI-assigned.
so which status should be good exactly?

You should always see MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED

Hello,
Is it an ISDN BRI or PRI? In most BRI cases Telco use power saving so it will only become "MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED" when a call is placed but when idle it will stay "TEI_ASSIGNED".
