Inbound calls not working on IP Phones extensions

Dear All,

I am facing issue in inbound calls. I can make outbound calls. But inbound calls work only when i put complete phone number at DN. If i use extension number, can not receive call at phone.

Example.

Extension Number : 311   Call will not be received at phone.

Extension Number : 22121311 call will be received at phone. 

I am using Cisco 4331 MGCP Gateway, E1 Line and CUCM 12.5

Can anyone help to fix the issue.

There are a number of ways to achieve this. Either you use a translation pattern that the MGCP gateway sees in its inbound CSS that matches the full number and translates it to your extensions by dropping 22121. Or you make a change to the configuration of the MGCP gateway in CM to set the significant digits to 3. That would strip the preceding digits as well. Remember that whenever you do changes to gateway configuration you’ll need to reset the gateway for the change to take effect.
