Hi,
" For incoming calls incoming called number takes precedence over destination
pattern in matching order "
Incoming calls means calls from the pstn ?
" For outgoing calls incoming called-number is ignored and only destination
pattern is used "
outgoing calls means from the gateway to cucm ?
Thanks

"Outgoing" means from the perspective of the router. Each call that flows through a router has an inbound call leg and an outbound call leg. The inbound call leg is formed when inbound signaling is matched to a dial-peer (or to dial-peer 0), and the call is accepted by the router. Then the router analyzes the information in the inbound signaling, and based on its programming, selects an outbound dial-peer. The outbound call leg is formed when the router signals outbound based on the information in the outbound dial-peer.
So whether your PSTN circuit will be the incoming or outgoing call leg will depend on the origin/directionality of the call.
