Incomming calls MGCP FXO matching h323 dial-peer

Hi,

In the process of converting our branch offices from H323 to MGCP and have hit a road block. It seems that incomming calls on my FXO port are hitting an h323 dial-peer rather than the MGCP dial-peer. If you dial the number it just rings continuosly(possibly in a loop?) Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Please see the attached config and debug.

seems like matching the H323 dial-peers. Removed these dial-peers and move them to the end of the
config. ie: Brought the MGCP dial-peers ahead.

Advised best practice is to first get all the MGCP config on the router (so dial-peers are
created by CCM, or we do it manually), and then only add other dial-peers.

If multiple dial peers have the same port configured, the dial peer first added in the configuration is matched. <\snip> Another document dealing with MGCP, H323 configs. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/voice/command/reference/vrht_c4_ps5207_TSD_Produ

Thank you, Yogesh! Call is now hitting the correct peer. I was under the impression that since the interface was MGCP, it would ignore the h323 peers unless in srst mode. Excellent information!

Glad it worked .

Thanks for the rating !
