Installing CUCM 10.5 on VmWare

Hello Guys

I am studying for CICD 210 - 060 to get CCNA Collaboration Certification. I have been using CUCM 7.0, and as we know this is a old version, so I am going to dowload CUCM 10.5.

My computer has 4 Gb Ram, and my CUCM 7.0 I installed it  with 2,5 Ram and now I would like to know if  I can install the 10.5 on vmware with 2,5 ram or if the installation will fail because my computer doesnt have the enought requirements to run the 10.5 Version?

If my computer doesnt have the enought to this version, what other one could I install for Labs to ccna collaboration, including CUC and CUPS

You can try to install it, but the install wizard will fail if you don't have the right VM specs, I've seen people remove resources after the install, but

A) That is not supported

B) Plenty of times you'll get services crashing and many other errors due to not enough memory being available

You might want to think on beefing up your computer, or buying something dedicated for this.
