Installing Unity Express on an ISM-SRE-300-K9

Hi,

A colleague of mine has a 2921 router with an ISM-SRE-300-K9 service module which will run Unity Express.

When he tries to enable the service module using the service-module enable the router displays the message below:

Memory size doesn’t meet the requirement of Embedded-Service-Engine 0/0

Does anyone know what memory this refers to? - the 2921 router has 512MB DRAM and 256MB flash.

If someone can answer this and ideally provide a link to a Cisco document stating the requirements I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Hi,

The requirement of the DRAM to run an embedded service engine is 1 GB. Please find the link for the same:-

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/services_modules/cimce/1.0/configuration/guide/CIMCe.html#wp1104930

Gnaneswaran.
