Intercom Setup

Running CUCM 12.5

Looking to setup intercom and perform some test, however, I was wondering if anyone can advise if all phones are supported? Any setup documentation that can show what phones (SCCP and SIP) are supported?

Thank you

Try the Phone Feature List report. I don’t have a system in front of me but you may be able to select Intercom as a feature to show supported models for.

I don't believe there is a matrix based on feature, so you'd have to look at the admin guide for each model phone you are working with. (I don't believe the wireless phones support Intercom, though.) But intercom is based on directory numbers and translation patterns, and so are model independent.

As for SCCP and SIP, be sure you are aware that you will need to set up a SIP Dial Rule for SIP phones. That is in the Feature Guide, but many folks miss that step.

Thank you for the response and helpful information. I will verify each phone's admin guide. I'm following the feature guide for the setup but wasn't aware of the SIP Dial Rule for SIP phones. Thank you for the heads up.

@Jonathan Schulenberg - I'd forgotten about that report in Cisco Unified Reporting. Excellent

Awesome, thanks for the screenshot, helped me generate the report very easily.

Excellent, the report makes it very easy to identify the supported phones in our environment. Thanks.
