Internal calls on jabber and external calls on landline phone

Hello!

If I have on CUCM a directory number (example 100) associated with a Cisco landline phone and a Jabber, can I only receive calls from outside on the Cisco landline phone and receive the calls from inside only on the Jabber?

Thank You!!!

Re: Internal calls on jabber and external calls on landline phone

Hi,

Yes, you can. Assign 2 different Partitions. Landline-PT and JABBER-PT. assign to Phones accordingly. On 2 Incoming trunk you can assign Incoming Calls CSS as Landline and Jabber.

Keep the directory number 100 as you said.

No idea what you mean by a "Cisco landline phone" there is no such term.

I'll assume you just mean a deskphone and a shared line. If so, the answer is NO.

You cannot have different calling privileges for a shared line, I suggest you read the dial plan chapter from the SRND.
