Internal calls to phone not ringing while on call

User 1 is on external call, internal user 2 calls user 1, user 2 hears ring for 10 seconds then voicemail picks up. When caller 2 is dialing user 1, user 1 does not see user 2 is calling at all. This only occurs when user 1 is on another call. Customer is using old versions of cme and cue. I feel like this is something simple, but I can't seem to figure it out.

How are the buttons setup on users 1 phone? Can you post the config?

What you are looking for is Maximum Number of Calls and Busy Trigger

Example:

ephone 2
privacy-button
mac-address XXXX.XXXX.XXXX
ephone-template 1
max-calls-per-button 5  << inbound & outbound
busy-trigger-per-button 2 << only inbound
button 1:2 2:3

What do you have configure under call-forward noan  command? 10 sec? Can you please post the config at least of the phone you are having problems with?

 

As well as the debug callmonitor  to see what´s going with the call.

 

Please provide exact call flow.

 

calling number, called number, exact time of the call.
