**Intracluster** Enhanced Location CAC

I'm reading about Enhanced Location CAC and I do understand the modeling that takes place and defines the links on a single cluster.

All the documentation I find talk about "Intercluster enhanced location CAC" and how you need to create these SIP intercluster trunk (ICT) and the role of the "shadow" locations, but I cannot find a guide on how actually configure it and what type of elements must be configure to exchange the information between clusters, because it cannot just be a simple trunk pointing to another CUCM cluster, right?

There is no configuration specifically related to the Shadow system Location; you simply select it on SIP ICT between CUCM clusters.

A related configuration would be intercluster Bandwidth Location Manager though. If you have matching Location names amongst CUCM clusters it wil synchronize bandwidth usage.

Thanks for the answer Jonathan, but just to be more specific, is there anything I need to pay special attention on that trunk additionally to the location (Shadow) for this to work?

Thanks!

Not to my knowledge but again, Shadow by itself does not convey Locations bandwidth consumption between clusters. You need to configure inter-cluster BLM and having exact matching location names.
