IP Comm & VPN Installations in China???

Hello,

Our United States based company just purchased a location in ShenXhen, China. As part of the integration project, we wanted to install the Cisco VPN Client & IP Communicator software onto their PCs to allow for better communication.

Well, I've contacted Cisco TAC & emailed export@cisco.com. So far no one has been able to let me know if this is a legal option or not?

I was curious if any other companies have performed actions similar to what I described above??? If so, what steps did you have to go through in order to install the software overseas?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi, last time I checked, China has no export restrictions, it's one of countries on top of Cisco's business, and they use all kinds of Cisco products.
