IP Communicator gets IPv6 address on CUCM 8.5

Hello Folks,

Good Day!

I have an issue in my IPT environment which is some of our IP communicator gets an IPv6 address even after we disable it on user's TCP/IP properties.

How we disable it on windows 7

• Start --> Run --> ncpa.cpl
• Getting into all the adapters properties (LAN,WiFi and VPN) and deselect IPv6 address
• Restarting the IP communicator application

Please find the IP that i found on CUCM.

IP Address:- 19.197.2.195

IPv6 Address :- f006:639e:78d4:6ba1:78d4:6ba1:c046:459e

Is this a problem with the Windows OS or cisco bug, can any one please explian and find the soluton for this.

In most cases, user's get ipv6 address while initiating with vpn or wifi....
