Issue - IP communicator installed on user's desktop just doesn't register. Error message says "Defaulting to TFTP server". Tried changing order of TFTP servers in "Preferences->Network" but still no luck.

Check for any connectivity issues.
Make sure there is end to end connectivity, no routing issues, nothing blocking the necessary protocols in your network and in your PC (FW/Antivirus).

Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion. I will cross-check the PC again. Thing is internet works from there...but maybe I need to check more carefully. Happy Easter & Happy weekend !

Run wireshark on the PC... Get a sniffer capture..It will definitely throw light on why is the IPC defaulting to TFTP server.
