IP DECT 6800 - IP DECT 210 in CUCM

Hello all,

We are looking at options of cordless phones. We are aware of the 8821 and would rather not have a 802.11 wireless phone.

Has anyone used the IP DECT 210/6825 in their CUCM environment?

The other option we have is using an ATA191 and an analog cordless phone for this.

We are on CUCM 10.5

Thank you,

Chris

The 6825 DECT series is not supported on CUCM as of now. Its an MPP variant and currently it will work only for 3rd party service providers.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Thank you.

I'm guessing it wouldn't work as a 3rd party sip device, either?

Do you know if there are plans for Cisco to release a CUCM firmware image for this?

Thank you,

Chris

MPP/3PCC devices are NOT supported with CUCM, for roadmap questions, you would need to reach out to your SE as roadmap information is NDA and cannot be discussed in public forums.

No, MPP/3PCC devices are NOT supported on Cisco call control, nor natively, nor as 3rd party SIP device.

If anyone needs this I figured out how to do this with WebEx Calling -- Setup the 6800 phone (or any MPP only device)  in WebEx Calling then created SIP trunk in CUCM using a 1100 router running CUBE to/from WebEX Control Hub to the 1100 Router. create your dial plan to pass the calls between the two and now they call each other like any phone on CUCM, the 6800's also use the CUCM for PSTN access.  If you have Flex licenses does not even cost anything other then the CUBE.

HI all,

We work to register IP dect 68XX (DBS-110-3PC) on te CUCM.

3rd pary integration work fine, but we have a problem with Moh, we can't hear music, and we can't hear any kind of tones,

we also tried to change hold behaviour from Rfc 3264 to Rf 2833 ( in DBS and in SIp profile on CUCM) without success.

Anyone have passed this pain?

Any suggest?
