I've got a client that is reporting to me that one of the 7941 phones no longer allows the user to do the transfer properly. She stated that the user can press the soft transfer key, then put in the number and the transfer takes place, unfortunately she cannot press the transfer again to make this work as before.
Anyone seen this happen before?

There was a bug with the 794x & 796x phones whereby you couldn't transfer if the headset was being used. That bug is fixed in the latest firmware builds.

I'll try the firmware because the user was not and do not wear a headset.

what is your CUCM version ?

If its only affecting one user and other 7941's are working fine then it could be an issue specific to the phone configuration. Try comparing the device level and line level settings of a working 7941 with this phone and see if there is any difference.
