Configuring with video phone may be little complex, therefore i decided to to try configuring a simple soft SIP phone, even that is not working. The phone shows an error that 408 request timeout, anyway there is no connectivity issue as we are able to reach the remote SCCP phones from the same network where i have the softphone is installed.
Another doubt i have is whether the CME is configured properly for SIP registration itself, i am doing a telnet to port 5060 on the router but i am getting timeout for that. Sametime i have another working CME where i am able to access the port 5060. Is there a way to confirm this ?
