IP Phone Delay with Displaying Digits

Hi Folks,

I have got an issue where a user dials the numbers on the IP phone and there is a significant delay between when they enter the digit and when it displays on the phone (like a second or more between digits). I have never seen this before and was wondering if anyone knew what could be causing this.

What’s the RTT to CUCM? A satellite-type very high latency would cause this.

Hi Jonathan.  Thanks for your input. As it happens, there was a network issue during the time the user reported the problem.  Once we resolved the network problem, the delay went away.  Go figure. :)
