Hi Mathew,

The handset actually has a clear lens so the RED lamp just shines through from the light on the body of the phone for MWI or ringing.

Cheers!

Rob

Erm... that's the voicemail notification light.

All, very glad to see your replies !

So why would you need it if you have one already on top of the headsets ?

Hi Mathew,

Just to add a note to the info from my friend Aaron (+5) that is also the light that flashes as part of the visual ringing notification.

Cheers!

Which is one of the good learning I had in the recent past, till this time I was under the impression that both of them work independently, never recognized the tiny lens system though.

You made my day Rob, Thanks
