We are trying to register IP Phones model 7821, 7861 in CUCM version 12.5 SU3. But as soon as we connect the phones into the network , it gets upgraded and then show the options i.e." Provision a new phone and Replace an existing phone". As we select the provision a new phone, it asks for activation code. Can we skip this step to register the phones?

Provision a new phone and Replace an existing phone:- its a new feature called phone migration.
If you add the phones manually, Make sure you selected correct device type and added correct Mac address with a DN assigned. make sure you configured Option 150 which is your TFTP server IP address. And make sure that on phone settings its showing the correct TFTP address.
If you are not adding the phone manually, make sure you have auto provisions enabled on your CUCM.

Hi,
We are trying to register the phone manually and even gave the tftp ip statically but still observing the same options of provisioning a new phone and replace an existing phone. We also tried to change the on premise device onboarding under device defaults from device activation to auto registration and vice versa but still facing the same issue.
