IP Phone Services for End Users: Extension mobility - User ID auto fill or

hi i have a CM6.1 with LDAP authentication...

extension mobility works fine...but i have some users who don't want to put in the whole user id e.g.bthorton

is there a way to put in the extension as an alias

or, is there a an auto fill for the user id

I have enabled the remember last user logged in, but doesn't help much.

The Alphanumeric Userid parameter applies system-wide. That is, all users must have alphanumeric userids or all users must have numeric user IDs. You cannot have a mix of the two types of user ids.

I knew I could not have a mix, but I want to know if there is an alias possible as a work around.
