IP Phone Services Security

Hi There !

people here are creating XML files that contains ERP information. It'll be working in some time...

I'll Subscribe the service in a few IP Phones, but, anyone that has access to that phone will be able to view the information.

So, how can I add some security in the IP Phone ? Maybe use the PIN that already exists in the CUCM EndUser page..

You would need to front-end that service you're creating with that kind of authentication, CUCM cannot do that for you.

If you mean some service to unlock the phone, same thing, either you create it, or use a 3rd party app.

thank you for your reply.

I need to tell that it's a little bit frustrating... I mean... IP Phone services exists since forever and still it seems that there are not that many working example as I expected ... it's always necessary to ask a 3rd party to do anything.
