Once a user closes the line (i.e. disconnects the call by putting the handset..), it takes 10 seconds to close the line.
But if he presses “End Call” it will close immediately.
This is happening with 7940 Model IP phones (as this is the only model present at site, cant test for other models)
Setup background: Initially all the IP phones were registered on CME, now we migrated the setup from CME to CUCM. And all the endpoints registered with CUCM 8.6.2
During the migration, we made the changes only in DHCP server (option 150) and the phone firmware got upgraded automatically and got registered to CUCM.
The above mentioned problem persists after the migration.
Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.
7940 phones don't have new firmware from cisco since July 2011.
the latest version is 8.1(2)_SR2.
try to restore factory for one device and test.
