Hello,
I have a wierd issue going on right now. We upgraded our call manager to Unified Communications versio 7.1.3, and ever since we are having an issue where 911 calls are accidentally being placed. I have checked the phone's dialed calls, and 911 was never actually dialed. We are using an Avaya Definity G3. These accidental 911 calls are only coming from our IP phones, and not our Avaya phones. Anyone know someplace i can begin to look?
Thanks,

If you have detailed call manager traces turned on you can look there to see why 911 is being dialed (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucmbe/security/8_0_2/secugd/secusbd.html). Alternatively if you have CDR (Call Detail Records) records enabled you might be able to see how the call progressed to eventually dial 911 through CAR (CDR Analysis and Reporting).

On a different note, there was an issue with duplicate dtmf digits generated from an IP phone when a digit is pressed.
One of our customers was running into the problem when trying to press 91 to dial out to LD numbers, but the digit 1 got sent twice, thus dialing out to 911.
Please check the firmware of the phones were this defect is fixed.

Thanks for the replies,
Where do i look for the firmware? Is it found in the Web Browser of the phone under Device Information on the version line?
Thanks,
