IP Phones and devices connected behind them

Hi

I have a scenario where I have an IP phone connected to a switchport on a switch.

The switchport is configured like this -

switchport mode access

switchport voice vlan 400 (auxillary)

port fast and all other required config is already on

Note, I have not configured any access i.e. there is no config like siwthcport access vlan xx

With this config and set up, I think the IP phone(which has CDP) will start working and will now know how to tag its packets(which VLAN) and work normally.

Suppose now I attach another switch behind this phone without any change in the config on the switchport,(assume this switch supports CDP and obviously knows how to tag packets). Will this switch now be able to send and receive packets? (If yes, can someone pls explain the series of steps?)

feel free to ask more questions if this isnt clear

Sorry, what?  You've got a phone connected to a switch (OK, this is normal) and the "PC port" of the phone you connect another switch???

You've configured your IP Handset to be a BRIDGE?
