Hi,
We are using Cisco IP Telephony system in our sites and Sites are connected thoguht MPLS networks. In our 2 sites when usera want to talk they talk for some time and then they feel silence of 5-7 second. Call doesnt disconnect but silcence remains. After sometime it un mutes.
Cisco IP Phones on both sites are registered in CUCM which is placed at third place.
Any idea how to fix this issue.

Hi There,
1. Which are typically the phone models used at both ends in a call ?
2. What is the firmware version loaded in those phones ?
3. Complete CUCM version ?

Cisco IP Phones 7911
Firmware v sccp 11-9-2
CallManager v 7.1.5

Usually, such issues are caused by firmware malfunction & upgrading it solves the issue. I suggest upgrading the 7911's to latest firmware available here http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=280136569&flowid=5261&softwareid=282074289&release=9.3(1)&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest
