IP Phones : Migration Firmware

Hi:

Is possible migrate this phones to the most current version of Fw in one step or maybe need migrate to previous versions to goal the final version.

I want to do this step previous before to migrate to CM v12.x

anybody help me to understand maybe existe some doc , link , tool .. PDI team ......

Most usually the RN for the firmware will contain a note in case there might be a middle step required in the upgrade to that particular release, start by reviewing those docs for each phone model/series and the particular version you want to upgrade to.

Previous to post my msg I checked all RN for this phones and there not exist some warning or advice about there that I need might be a middle step required in the upgrade.

Then, with a lot faith that all will work I go ahead.

Hi,

the way to do this is
1. Download the firmware from Cisco website
2. Upload the firmware to cucm tftp
3. Change the device defaults of your phones to point to new firmware
4. Reset your phones to download the firmware (you can do this per group)
5. Proceed with CUCM upgrade
