Dear Community,
Is there a way in a cisco cube when configured with SIP registration each SIP invite to follow the SIP registrar ?
I believe that even we are registered in a server when SIP invites arrive in Cube the process starts again from the begining trying to resolve SIP invite URL and if DNS responds with another IP than the one we are registered we have issues with our ITSP.
The suggestion from our ITSP is to configure CUBE in order SIP invites to follow the SIP registration server.
Any idea ?
Regards,
Achilleas

I would try to put a dns record locally on the cube:
#ip host [name] ip address.
And stick the hostname of your cube provider kn statically (you might need to add the ip dns server) command

Local DNS record is not accepted from our ITSP.
We must use DNS server in order to resolve any URLs.
Resolution is working properly but we need to know if there is a mechanism for SIP invites to follow the SIP registration.
Normally this scenario is working in other kind of routers (e.g residential CPEs are working like this).
