I have CM 4.2 with outbound pri configured as i try to put call forwarding to my cell phone it gives me dial tone and then afterwards it says your call cannot be completed....

As i try to make outbound calls they are working fine.

One thing more i discovered when i press New call button on ip phone and make outbound call it shows the same behavior ie dial tone.

so the conclusion is call forwarding to ip phone not working.

And outbound calls not working when i press new call and dial.

but they are working when i dial the number first and then press DIAL button on ip phone,

Have you checked to your restrictions (Calling Search Space and Partition)

Maybe have a look at the Device CSS for the phone you are calling out on.

Yeah i told you outbound calls are going on nice and smooth

only the problem is when i put call forward to cell phone i hear dial ton.

And when i press new call and dial a mobile number same behavior.

Only when i dial the mobile number and then press DIAL on ip phone it works Perfect.

Hi,

Did you put CSS in the DN's CFA CSS field :) (lot of abbreviations)

So on Directory number you have field with CSS for Call forward all. If you leave it blank you can't set the CFA.

See if it helps

Pilat

Sorry Pilat,

Cant agree with you on this i never heard it before accept when working with unity.

But still i tried it but didnt worked,

There is some thing Else bothering it because when i press new call and dial it shows the same behavior.

Lets take a CCM detailed trace with matching debugs on the GW, take 'debug isdn q931' if you are using H323 also include 'debug asn1 h245' and 'debug asn1 h225'
