IPMA error when trying to configure a Manager

Hi:

I just migrated callmanager 4.2.3 to 8.0.3, I´m having problems trying to configure a user as a manager. When I select an assistant and click on the save button, I got the following error: "Unmapped Exception Error Updating device and line(s) information. Service Parameters not configured. You must configure Device Configuration Default and Softkey templates service parameters for Cisco IP Manager Assistant service for automatic configuration"

Under device configuration default and softkey templates everything is configured

Any idea about what´s going on?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi,

Could you please restart the IPMA service?

Hello Pryik:  Thanks for your response and suggestion, but I already done that, and even restarted the 2 servers that are in the cluster. Any other idea that might help??

Greetings!!

I have the same problem, with CUCM 7.0.(2):

We had a change of assistants in the office. Have to remove one of the assistants from the Manager Configuration.

Under "Assistant Information", the new assistant is listed.

What I need to do is, remove the old assistant and associate the new one.

This error comes out, however I do it:

- In one go/step (remove the old assistant, associate the new one and save)

- In two steps (remove the old one, save, associate the new one, and save).

Service Parameters for Cisco IPMA service looks correctly configured.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance

Hi.

Thank you for the input.

Solved by going into Service Parameters for IPMA service on the Publisher.

Had to correct the Clusterwide Parameters (Softkey Templates).

Thanks
