The phone currently has only character 13 positions
to display data from the "Line Text Label".
Using CUCM v7.0.2
Is it possible to remove the cisco logo to add space for extra characters?
Or
beneath the displayed text is another space,
is there another field that maps to this space?
tks,
Pieter

That's unfortunate. Having the Cisco logo on there is really obnoxious and limiting.
Is there an appropriate place to submit such a request as a future firmware enhancement?

Get in touch with your AM or your local Cisco SE and tell them you'd like to submit a PER.

It is actually possible to replace the Cisco logo (which personaIly I do not find in the least obnoxious ) with another logo.
The steps to do this can be found at the link below
As Java stated it is not possible to remove the logo and use the space to display any other type of data.

Indeed, but it's not the content that's irritating, it's the space it consumes that could be used for something more descriptive.
Anyway, thanks for the responses!

Hi James,
thanks for thinking with me,
I knew about the possibility to change the logo.
Even with an ingenious construction to dynamically change this logo with some info (like you can change the background on other models ) this is not what I was looking for.
Regards,
Pieter
