Is it possible to rename a line group without interfering with the functionality in Cisco Unified CM Administration - System version: 7.0.1.11000-2?

Hi,

In our installation "Cisco Unified CM Administration - System version: 7.0.1.11000-2" I have a lot of Line groups that needs to be updated and I need to rename them from one name to another.

Can I just rename the “Line Group Name” and do this without interfering with the functionality of the Line group?

Hi

Yes, the name of the line grou is just that - the line group is actually linked to the hunt list via a PKID in the DB, so it will work fine.

Hi Carl-Marius,

Yes, these can be re-named without issue. I just tried this out to be sure. Once

it has been updated you will also see the new name has propogated to the associated Hunt List

Make sure to always test at least one list before going too crazy on your CUCM version.
