Hello,
A client upgraded a 3905 with the latest firmware but now he's not able to see it on the "Add New" list (CUCM: 8.5.1).
He restarted the tftp server but this phone model won't appear.
Anybody knows what could be happening? A bug maybe?
Regards,
Patricio

The FW has nothing to do with the ability to add a phone model, FW is installed in the TFTP server, phone models are in the CUCM DB
Was the option there before?
Exactly what was installed??

Hi Jaime,
According to the client, the option was not there before. The client bought several 3905 phones and before installing all of them, they are trying with this one but the phone model is not showing in the "Add New" option list.

Have them install the latest devpack for their release and the option should show then.
Notice a cluster restart is mandatory since you're adding support for a new phone model.
