Hello:
I have the following issue:
Usually a user when try a call can do this: "When you pre-dial, your phone tries to anticipate the number you are dialing by displaying matching numbers (if available) from your Placed Calls log. This is called Auto Dial. To call a number displayed with Auto Dial, press the number, or scroll to it and go off-hook"
This is not working although I can see in the placed calls directory a lot of numbers. The phones in use are 7821 and 7940 mainly.
What can be the cause?
Best Regards

Hi there,
I'm not sure about why this isn't working for the 7940's, but it's a bug for the 7821;

Hi rob,
thanks for your answer. I haved checked that with my 7942 with sip load it is working, but with 7940 or 7937 with SCCP it doesn´t work.
Is there any testing that can I do?
Best Regards

Hi Rob:
thanks you for your answers. The TAC has said me that the feature doesn´t work with old models like 7940 and 7937.
