                   Hello,

We are planning to upgrade cisco 7961 IOS phone firmware from version 7.0(3.05) (application load: Jar41.2-9-2-26.sbn) to SCCP41.9-3-1SR1-1S 9.3(1)SR1

We could successfully load the latest version onto the Call Manager 7.1.5 but when we resetted the 7961 phones it still shows the old version.

We evwn tried to forcefully apply the new firmware to the phone (through the phone admin page) but still it shows the old version.

If someone has faced similar issues, request you to please guide us with the procedure for the same.

Regards,

Sargam

Hi

For all SCCP firmware upgrades from firmware  release versions earlier than 8.3(3) to Version 9.3(1) or later, you  must first upgrade your firmware to an intermediate version (8.3(3) to  8.5(2)) and then upgrade to 9.3(1).
