IVR with Only CUCM (?)

Hello everyone,

I'm posting here since I didn't find a straight answer to my question in hope of finding it here.

I'm looking for adding an IVR to CUCM without using any other node / server, so a caller can hear a message before routing the call to its destination, it will be used to inform the caller that the conversation is recorded 

 

I already found that we can use CUC, and other solutions like UCCX which are over sized for this particular need

Any thoughts ?

From call manager 10 there are some native queueing fwautures available when calling into a hunt pilot. This might suit your needs and is cheaper than spinning up a uccx box

Dear TrickTrick,

1) You one another option of using BACD Script in Voice Gateway.
So if your call is coming via Voice Gateway, You just setup BACD Script in Voice Gateway to play and IVR and route call to CUCM.

2) Another option is to use the Native Call Queuing feature in CUCM for the same.
