Jabber for Everyone in CUCM 8.6

Hi Guys

We have a client using Jabber for voice with mobile clients (androi, OS, Windows) and he has no licenses. Then, now he want to activate Jabber for Everyone. 

I have the follow doubt: 

For enable Jabber for Everyone I have to install a cop file in the CUCM. Jabber for voice will continue working? Jabber for voice and Jabber Everyone is supported work together? Additional licenses will be required?

When you install the COP file it will make the DLU cost for Jabber Softphones in to 0.  That is the only change the cop file makes.  Essentially it makes it free.  You'll still need to have the rest of your cluster licensed.

If they upgrade to 9 and above, jabber is free as an adjunct device.  If its the exclusive device they use (if they dont also have a physical phone), it does require a low level license.
