Jabber never shows in a meeting always green indicator

We are having an issue where our presence is always off on Jabber.  We are integrated with Outlook 2010 but when users are in a meeting and are using their laptop their indicator is always green.  Is this the way it is supposed to work or is there something we have missed?  We are currently on Jabber 9.2.1 through 9.2.3 on callmanager 8.6.  As you can see by the attached screen shot at the time it was taken I should've been in a meeting but my presence indicates I am available.

Can you check under File -> Options -> Status  and see if "In a meeting" is checked?

Yes it is checked.  The status in the CUP user page for calendar status is also set to "ON"
