Jabber Personal Directory?

Hello All,

Is there a way to create and access a Personal Phone Directory with Jabber?

We are using CUCM version 11.5 and  Jabber_for_Windows-12

You can add custom contacts AKA pizza guy contacts.

If you're asking something similar to the phone service, you'd need to build it yourself and then configure a custom tab.

Thanks Jamie.  That's exactly what we want.  My employees want personal directories for their outside contacts.

Any idea on how to do it?

Go to your Jabber and add them as custom contacts, that's all there is to it.

Ah, you have Jabber deployed in Phone Only mode. You’ll need IM&P servers to support Custom Contacts since that’s where the database records are stored.

Another option is to enable local Outlook integrations and allow Jabber to search contacts from there.
