Hi,
I have a hunt list with 7 extns configured. However when the same is used, the calls are looping between the first 3 extns and then it rings all the extns...The algorithm used is Top down. I want all the extns to ring in order and not loop between the first 3. Pls provide me some suggestions.....
I tried the following....
1) deleting and adding the phones to the Call Manager and the line group used in Hunt
2) resetting the hunt list
3) I even reset the SIP trunk pointing to the gateway.
4) I even tried adding another line group with the last 4 extns so as to use the algorithm Top down : Try next member; then; try next group in hunt list for no answer and busy.
It still shows the same issues and it loops on the 2nd ling group as well....
Please help me...
Thanks
Khizar

In addition to what Chris mentioned (+5P Chris) , check the RNA value in line group configuration.
This value is the time (in secons) that system waits before ring the next available agent.
So.
If you have 3 agents and the Rna timeout is 10 (default) you should have a maximum hunt timer at least of 60 seconds .
You can also leave the maximum hunt timer blank because the default value is high enough (1800 seconds).

What is your hunt timer defined on the hunt pilot? Make sure it is longer from what it would take to hunt through all the phones.
