LDAP integration with CUCM 8.x

Hi,

We have one OU include all the users.  We are not able to create sub-OU that include IP Phone user only.

That the One OU that also include a lot of user that doesn't have IP Phone also.

My question is simple, I don't care to sync all the users, but I want to sync the user with IP Phone extension (attribute) at the LDAP only.

Can I do that??  If yes, how to do it??

Hi Kenneth,

You can set the following search base for LDAP user search base under

System - LDAP - LDAP directory - LDAP user serach base.

dc=domain,dc=com;&(objectclass=user)

or

ou=test,dc=domain,dc=com;&(objectclass=user)

and make sure you map the Phone number field of CUCM with the "ipPhone" attribute of LDAP under "User fields to be syncronised"

the above worked for me once while testing.
