LDAP user and local user for CUCM 8.6

I have one customer who is still using CUCM 8.6 version.

Currently their users are LDAP enabled. 

now they have one requirement that the user should not be LDAP and it must be a local user.

In 8.6, can we create both ldap and local user? if so how? we cannot see the option to create local user. No Add new button to create local user.

Hi there

Unfortunately this feature is not available in CUCM 8.6. This feature started from CUCM 9.X onwards.

1) To add the Local Users you have to disable the LDAP Synchronization and LDAP Authentication. Once you do this all the LDAP Syched users will be marked for deletion in 24 hours. You can now see the add new button in CUCM, Add the required Local users and enable the LDAP Sych and LDAP Authentication again. *** DON'T FORGET TO RATE & ACCEPT SOLUTION IF APPLICABLE

So My question is steps are like this.
How to add local user to LDAP synchronized CUCM in 8.6?
1. disable the LDAP Synchronization and LDAP Authentication
2. after step 1, LDAP Syched users will be marked for deletion in 24 hours.
3. add new button appears in CUCM
4. add new button in CUCM
5. enable the LDAP Sych and LDAP Authentication back again.

So after enable LDAP synch back, local users will be present there right? so later for editing local users we need to do the same procedure again right?
