Does anyone know how to send an authorization code to a carrier AFTER the digits are sent over to the Gateway
We are looking to have the gateway insert a pause and then append the dialed number with a specific 3 digit code.
I was thinking of doing the following setup:
Creat a RP for FAX and prefix 111 (A FAC Code) and DD preDot
In the gateway i create my dialpeer
dialpeer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 111,T
port 1/1/1:23
with the , i can insert a pause ....
Can anyone tell me if this would word and any other ideas!
Thanks

Any specific reason that you would like to insert a pause?
If not, i think a translation rule will work. apply it to the voice port- outgoing direction, called number
Prefix 111 on dial peer
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /^\(111\)\([1-9].........\)$/ /\2\1/

Thanks Arun, but basically i need to send the first 10digits to the voice port then wait for 3 seconds and then enter the Fac code , the fac code are provided by the service provider and i can t just prefix digit.... i have to wait so i get dial tone and the number got through the port then send the Fac code .
Any thoughts on that?
Btw thanks for your response
