Im trying to figure out how to get an intercom to ring only one device attached to a directory number.  Eg. have a Jabber devcie, 7XXX series phone and only want to ring one of them if the DN they share is in a Line Group.

You may want to look at Line-Level ring settings.  Go to the Directory Number associated with the device you don't want to ring-out. Select the line. Scroll down and look for the two ring settings (active and idle). Select disable to turn off ringing.

There is another method that can be used depending on what your requirements are for the shared line. Take a look at the above mentioned method and go from there.

Thanks for the reply but im looking for something different.  Ill go into more detail:

  1. The call button is pressed the SIP intercom
  2. It calls a Hunt Pilot
  3. The Hunt Pilot goes through a line group with a list of DNs
  4. The call from the SIP intercom then rings the DNs until someone picks up
  5. A DTMF code is entered which opens a door

My problem is in step 4.  The DNs have multiple phone types (jabber/desk phone/cups/whatever) and the intercom rings all of them.  What im looking to do is to ring only the desk phones when an intercom call is placed.  Not change the way the device works for every call.
