Linksys PAP2T Power led says "SOS" !?

Hi there !

My Linksys PAP2T  is suddenly OOO and power LED says "SOS" !

I can't enter the setup with the IP address.

Whar appens ?

What can I do ?

After years of stability, my PAP2T-NA abruptly started flashing the SOS code.  The recovery tool referenced at

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2021677 was unable to find my device, so I assumed it was dead and ordered another one.  When it arrived, I disconnected the old one, connected the new one, and it promptly flashed the SOS code, too!  The recovery tool was unable to find that device, either, and at some point I decided to connect both at the same time.  To my amazement, the recovery tool found the one I connected to the new power adapter.  I swapped adapters and the other one was found, too!  A multimeter measured 5.1VDC for both power adapters, so I can't explain this behavior, but in my case the only problem was the power adapter!
