Hello Team,
Can someone help me on how to load balance my external calls on the two E1 Lines i am using. I noticed once 1 E1 line channel is full, like 30 users on the trunk, no additional user can make external call, however, the other E1 line from another provider will be available but calls will not be routed there. Is it because its seeing the channel as active.
Kindly advice on the best way around this.
Regards

You have to use the Route Group and Route List to add the Second line as backup.
Ideally what we do is procure two PRI Lines with same DID Range from Provider
and connect to two Voice Gateways for Hardware Redundancy,
Then We can use the Route List and Route Group for Redudcy.
If it is Integrated with H323 please make sure to Set the Service Parameter
Route the call On , Other wise it might not user the other PRI .
This is under Service Parameter. Select your Server and Service =Call Manager
Stop Routing on Unallocated Number Flag Required Field |
False |
Stop Routing on User Busy Flag Required Field |
False |
And finally please rate and mark correct if information is helpful.
Thanks

Thanks, we are using MGCP and both E1s are from different provider.
