I have 2x 1Mbps PPP links from my core router (3660 running OSPF) to one branch (02x 1841) that need to be balanced. My concern is about the load at the branch's routers (02x 1841), if I enable OSPF, considering that we don't summarize routes and my routing table at core has around 7000 lines.
Is there a better way to balance these two links?
Attached I am sending the "show version" of 03x routers.
Tks,
Alex

Hi, there is no calculation formula, and if the network is correctly designed, there is not much CPU use.

Hi, this question would be better for the infrastructure forum, however two 1mb links are not a problem for the 1841 neither are 7000 routes.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Hi Bevilacqua,
Thanks for your feedback and can you please tell me if is there any calculation formula regarding to CPU when we are talking about large ROuting tables?
Rds,
Alex
